Tuition Insurance Protection for Students

College is expensive enough. But what happens to your money if you get sick or hurt and you're unable to attend classes for a whole semester or longer?

Cover your investment in higher learning with Tuition Insurance Protection.1 It's available to all students with a Charter One checking account - at no additional cost.2

The Tuition Insurance Protection plan protects you from the loss of the non-refundable portion of your college tuition, up to $5,000 per year,3 should you become unable to attend classes or must interrupt your semester due to covered reasons. Enrollment

You must be a student with a Charter One checking account to activate Tuition Insurance Protection. You can open an account at your nearest branch, online, or by calling 1-877-867-7283.

Once you have your Charter One checking account, just proceed to the Tuition Insurance Protection plan site and follow the instructions. You’ll be provided complete details of coverage and asked to enter your contact information and your Charter One checking account number to register.
